I had a roommate with money for the longest time. It was great we split bills and she even helped me land a much better job than I had at that time. That was a smart decision having a roommate like that. The dumbest was living with a roommate that had no money. I was trying to help them through a tough patch in their life but I had no help with rent. A good deed for sure but it cost me financially.

All kidding aside probably one of the smartest things I have done is that I understood how compounding works at an early age. One of the dumber things I have done through the years is I probably eat out too much and I probably have spent too much on cars.
